Let us embrace the fact that getting to Florida is pricey. Note that you will have to spend money for transportation, accommodation, souvenirs, etc. Airline fare is high, gasoline is at an all time high, food and theme park tickets are likewise at high cost. However, this does not mean you will just forget about having a trip to the beautiful sunshine state with your family and loved ones. Of course, you and your family deserve to have a break even for just once a year.

But if you think visiting the theme parks would only add up to your expenses, you can always go for other options and instead take advantage of other exciting features the Disney World offers. Remember that there are still a lot of fun activities and adventures in Disney World property that would make plenty of vacation memories for your family.

You may choose to stay in one on-property or value resorts in Disney World and open yourself up to the amenities and activities they abound including the following:

Water Parks. While water parks at Disney require separate admission, the experience you’ll get surely worth the money you’ve spent. Among the well-loved parks are the Blizzard Beach and Typhoon Lagoon that provide plenty of water play enjoyment to complete your day.

Cool Pools. Take advantage of the cool pools each resort has purposely designed to blend into the resort’s theme. Water recreation area is likewise offered with water slides and swimming area.

Disney Characters. You may think that you wouldn’t have a chance to see Disney characters unless you visit the theme parks but you’re wrong. You can always take in one of the character dining privileges in different areas across Disney property.

Fun Boating. You can go for boat rentals and enjoy exploring the waterways on Disney properties. You will be given with several options like what size or type of boat you want to use for such activity.

Wagon Riding. Carriage or wagon riding is among the ideal activity especially for family or a romantic vacation. Reservations though are required but the experience is worth it.

Bicycle Riding. Biking is fun and you can always enjoy this with the bicycle rentals available. For a more unique and fun experience, you can rent a surrey bike available at Disney’s Boardwalk. These are covered bikes built for four, the perfect thing for family touring.

The aforementioned vacation features in Disney World are just few of a wide array of splendid attractions, fun activities and adventures available throughout the location worth to visit beyond the well-known theme parks. Remember you can always do something to make the most of your Florida vacation experience.
